Maintenance Impact vs Effort Matrix

Fix the work that moves reliability first. A simple matrix to prioritize what matters.

PrioritizationBacklog

Every maintenance backlog has work that should be done first, work that should be scheduled, work that should be delegated, and work that should be deleted. This impact-vs-effort matrix sorts all four quadrants with concrete examples: repeat failures and missing parts go in 'do first,' shutdown work and critical spares get scheduled, routine reports get delegated, and weak PMs and backlog noise get cut. Spend effort where reliability improves fastest.
